One week from today (Wednesday, February 8th), the PPLS will be hosting a panel discussion in collaboration with the Dalhousie Space Law Society, titled:
"The Future of Law and Policy: Canada in Space"
This IN-PERSON event will involve a round table discussion between pioneering industry professionals in an exciting, emerging area of law: the law of outer space. We have lined up some outstanding speakers for you all, including:
- Jane Elise Bates (Counsel, Cox & Palmer);
- Rick Eng (Senior Policy Analyst, Canadian Space Agency);
- Bryn Orth-Lashley (Technical Operations and Service Manager, GHGSat);
- Arad Gharagozli (Founder, GALAXIA Mission Systems); and
- Brian Gallant (CEO, Space Canada, and former NB Premier from 2014-2018)
This event will be held on FEBRUARY 8th @ 6 PM in Room W104, Weldon Law Building (masks required in all Dalhousie instructional spaces).
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at what will most definitely be an insightful conversation!
