Are you feeling stuck in your Fusion dancing, and unclear on how to improve? Are you seeking new ways to grow as a dancer?Join us for our all-levels progressive series of classes designed around The Fusion Framework - a pedagogy we’ve developed that will help you directly learn key principles of partner dancing and empower you with techniques you can apply to improve your Fusion. Dancers will learn both roles in our classes to better understand partnered connection.
May’s Theme: Close Embrace and Contra Body Movement
May 2nd: Building Comfort In Close Embrace
May 9th: Traveling in Close Embrace
May 16th: Jazz Squares in Close Embrace (Swing, Sway, and Contra Body Movement)
May 23rd: Active Applications of Contra Body Movement
May 31st: Dynamic Frame and Moving Through Your Partner in Close Embrace
The Fusion Framework 4-week Partner Dance Series
with Dynamic Partner Dancers - Stefan Warmuth & Amber Dawn
Location: The Berkeley Yoga Center
Thursdays (May 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th)
5:30 pm - 6:00 pm - Optional Open studio for warm up & practice
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm - Fusion Partner Dance Class

Sliding scale: $60 - $120 / month (Financial Aid options available please contact us if cost is prohibitive)
*Soft soled dance shoes (ballet slippers, jazz shoes, etc.), socks, or bare feet ONLY in the studio. NO shoes that have been worn outside or might mark the floor.
