The Furious Bongos - A Tribute to FRANK ZAPPA

The Furious Bongos return with a totally different show — a gloriously twisted new take on the music of Frank Zappa.
Frank Zappa’s music is no place to fake it. The Furious Bongos bring their gloriously twisted take on his catalog back to Live at Hub City Vinyl on Wednesday, April 14.
These formidable players have résumés that include B.B. King, Mick Fleetwood, James Taylor, Yo-Yo Ma & more, and the chops to tackle Zappa’s notoriously demanding music. But don’t expect a note-for-note trip down Nostalgia Lane — like Frank himself would have done, they keep it unpredictable, playful, and appropriately weird, all while paying respect to his legacy.
Serious musicians. Unserious behavior. Entirely the point.
Tickets are also available at the Hub City Vinyl record store counter — and show ticket holders get 10% off in the store before the show.
