Funk Fam, LFG!It’s time to dust off the year in true Funk Factory style! Get your ensemble ready, we’re heading back to the Top Yard rooftop to dance under Melbourne’s stunning skyline! Let’s all gather for a good old inner-city doof with our best lineup to date.
For this instalment, we’ve hand-picked some of the country’s finest, including the debut of Melbourne heavyweight Kodiak Kid, Wilma will be back on deck with her cello in tow for another live set, Boydex & Friends will of course be in attendance and introducing our special guest all the way from Sydney, Swim Ink. will also be gracing the stage. These guys are blowing up right now with shows right across Australia, we can’t wait to see what they have install for The Funk Factory.
Rounding out the line up, we have our very own doof supergroup performing for the first time, a B2B2B set with Big Fkn Robots, Kenny Fantastic, and JNRBOOM as they introduce their new project ‘Fantastic FKN Boombots’ and of course we’re bringing back Funk Factory favorites: Drop the Pickle, Ultraviolet, and J-Slyde on support duties.
This event is all about immersing yourself in The Funk Factory ethos of embracing our freedom of expression and dancing to the funk with like-minded souls. So don't hold back, pull out the ensemble, get colourful, and embrace anything that screams funkalisious!
