About this Event
Learn to prepare authentic sushi in a fun hands-on class. Chef Misaeng will walk you through the basics of how to make two different kinds of sushi, Japanese traditional and California style. You’ll learn how to expertly prepare the fillings and construct sushi rolls with ease. You’ll learn interesting variations and leave with new skills to prepare your own sushi at home with confidence. Class includes a sushi rolling mat.
Notes:
Location: Classes are held in our Community Room and Kitchen at Oryana West. The Community Room is in the back of the store near the restrooms and Wellness Department.

About the instructor: Misaeng Suh studied in the NMC culinary arts program in 2004 and has been sharing her culinary skills and love of Japanese cuisine in variety of settings over the years including working in restaurants, as a private chef, and teaching at NMC.
