The Frostbite JOAD TournamentFFX Archery will host the Frostbite JOAD tournament at the Bull Run Shooting Center in Centreville VA on December 20, 2025.
Use “Bull Run Shooting Center” in your navigation system. Follow signs to the Shooting Center. Our indoor archery center is in the basement of the Shooting Center.
This is a 60-arrow JOAD round (20 shooting ends of three arrows each end) with two practice ends at the beginning of each session.
U13 and U15 Barebow and Recurve archers will shoot a 60cm Single Spot target at 18 meters.
All other archers will shoot a 40cm target (you may select either 10-ring or triangle 3-spot) at 18 meters.
- Compound inner 10-ring will be in effect.
- Recurve, Fixed Pins, and Barebow outer 10-ring will be in effect.
There are three shooting times:
- Saturday, 12/20 at 9:00am
- Saturday, 12/20 at 1:00pm
- Saturday, 12/20 at 5:00pm
Each shooting time will have a maximum of 28 competitors.
Please plan to arrive at least 45 minutes early to set up equipment and complete equipment inspection before your shooting time.
We will hold an awards ceremony shortly after the Saturday 5:00pm session ends.
Archery Divisions: Recurve, Compound, Barebow, and Fixed Pins
Archery Classes:
- U13 (formerly Bowman) through the calendar year of your 12th birthday
- U15 (formerly Cub) through the calendar year of your 14th birthday
- U18 (formerly Cadet) through the calendar year of your 17th birthday
- U21 (formerly Junior) through the calendar year of your 20th birthday
Early Registration Fee: $50 (on or before December 12)
Late Registration Fee: $75.00 (December 13 to December 17 at 7:00am ET)
If you need to cancel your registration, you may receive a partial refund if we receive your cancellation e-mail no later than Friday, December 12, 2025.
All competitors must be USA Archery members, and must follow the USA Archery Dress Code.
The Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP) will be in effect.
