Braden Lam is a Halifax-based indie-folk artist whose authentic songwriting and modern edge have positioned him as one of Canada’s most compelling new voices. His debut album The Cloudmaker’s Cry delivers a nostalgic yet contemporary sound, earning praise from Billboard, Exclaim!, and Range Magazine. His single “Beautiful Neighbourhoods” reached #7 on the CBC Top 20 and was named one of CBC Music’s top songs of 2024.Known for emotionally rich performances, Lam has captivated audiences across Canada, the U.S., the U.K., and Europe, including sets at The Great Escape and Reeperbahn Festival. With warm analog textures, ‘60s and ‘70s-inspired instrumentation, and intimate storytelling, his music bridges classic folk roots with the urgency of today.

School House is one of Canada’s fastest-rising folk groups, born when three best friends moved into a century-old schoolhouse that sparked their creative identity. Since their 2023 debut, they’ve earned Group of the Year at the Ottawa Music Awards, Album of the Year from Faces Magazine, and major wins at both the Mariposa Folk Festival and the 2025 Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase.
With soaring three-part harmonies and heartfelt, campfire-inspired songwriting, the band has shared stages with The Strumbellas and Alan Doyle while building a devoted national following. Following their 2023 debut album and 2024 acoustic EP, School House is set to release their anticipated second album Homeland in February 2026.
