Have you always been curious about sketch comedy but never had an opportunity to try it? Well this is the approachable one-class crash course for you. It will include easy, fun, introductory sketch writing exercises, a look at some of the concepts that we think make great sketch writers hilarious, and a chance to try some writing of your own. Beginners welcome, this class is a perfect place to start in the amazing world of sketch!
This workshop will be led by the amazing improviser and comedian, Devin Mackenzie!
Masks: OPTIONAL in Studio C but please MASKS ON when using Carousel Theatre's public spaces. See our COVID-19 Safety Plan for full details.
Students will need to present proof of vaccination to take this class.
Must be at least 18 years old.
