The Fredericksburg Alphas and LEADE Foundation: 2025 HBCU Bus Tours

The HBCU Bus Tour is an exciting two-day event that explores and celebrates historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in the region.

**Day 1: March 25, 2025**

The tour departs from Fredericksburg, Virginia, and begins with a visit to Virginia Union University. Participants can engage with students and faculty and experience the vibrant campus culture. Next, the tour continues to Virginia State University, where attendees can learn about its rich history and academic offerings. The journey then stops at Hampton University, known for its strong emphasis on research and community involvement. Finally, the day concludes with a visit to Elizabeth City University before returning to Fredericksburg.

**Day 2: March 27, 2025**

The second day begins with another departure from Fredericksburg, heading to Howard University, one of the most prestigious HBCUs in the nation. Participants will engage in campus tours and discussions with current students. The tour then moves on to Morgan State University, richly known for its commitment to education and research. The final stop is Bowie State University, where attendees will get insights into the programs and opportunities available to students. The tour concludes with a return to Fredericksburg, leaving participants inspired and informed about the diverse learning environments offered by HBCUs.
