The Frappe Grande Slam, is possibly the bestest, most brilliant poetry slam in the galaxy. This month is no exception. 12 slammers with 3minutes each, scored by the audience and introduced by Rick and Ade.

This month our Headline poet is:
Danny Boy is an Irish born British bred author and poet, currently surviving in the small suburb of greater Dudley, known as Birmingham. A lifetime reader, consumer, lover of all things wordy. For most of his life writing was a hobby, a way to make sense of the world, keep the demons in their cages. In 2020, during Covid lockdowns, fuelled by rage and mid-life crisis, he started spewing thoughts online, and much to his own surprise people seemed to like what came out. So he kept doing that, online and in person, and intends to keep doing it until someone stages an intervention. Danny considers himself a storyteller who occasionally bumps into poetry at pubs and bus stops. His style is kindly described as eclectic, by which he means he’s never exactly sure what he’s doing.
