We are proud be hosting the launch of the Frankie Baker Trust on Thursday 19 December.
The trust has been set up in partnership with @platformoneiow and is named after talented local musician Frankie Baker, who studied at Platform One and was also part of many well liked local bands such as Xockha. Sadly Frankie passed away in December 2023.
The aim of the trust is to raise money for local musicians and grassroots artists, which may include supporting travel to perform on the mainland or covering recording / rehearsal costs . . .
More information will be released in due course about applying to the trust for support.
Entry fee will be a donation to the trust, however big or small - everything counts! There are some great local artists performing, including headliners @theohmzband.
