FH3 is Vancouver bandleader Francis Henson’s foray into the aural North American popular music landscape of the 60’s and 70’s celebrating the guitar, the song, and the story. Along with beloved local icons Trent Otter and Yamil Chain-Haddad, the trio selects their favourite songs from artists including Bob Dylan, Bill Withers, Freddie King, among many others. Extending familiar classics with groove-based exploration and informed improvisations, FH3 is for intentional, devoted, and celebratory music-making.
