Jo Pritchard OBE, and Joanne Bosanquet MBE, Chair and Chief Executive of the Foundation of Nursing Studies are pleased to invite you to a unique free opportunity to combine our annual celebration with arts, health and heritage at Kensington Palace.
Overview
We are delighted that FoNS’ will be hosting a unique, invite only celebratory symposium showcasing our work with nurses and nurse-led teams. We will be launching some exciting opportunities under our new strategy, to share with you as one of our important stakeholders.
This symposium will be held within the three-day Art of Nursing exhibition hosted by The Art of Nursing CIC at the beautiful Clore Learning Centre, in the grounds of the historic Kensington Palace.
What your invitation includes
✔ A exciting programme co-created by our experienced FoNS facilitators and programme leads.
✔ A chance to network and make new connections with FoNS alumni and lived experience practitioners.

✔ Private access to the exhibition Nurses: Being Seen. Being Heard. Being.
✔ An opportunity for a small group guided tour of Kensington Palace to experience heritage as a wellbeing asset (with a focus on Queens and Vaccines).
✔ The opportunity to take part in the creation of an artwork featuring the faces of all attending over the three days. This will turn into a mural piece of art, as a homage to Prince Albert's Great Exhibition when people left with an image of themselves as their Exhibition souvenir.

Format of the day:
- 09.30 registration opens with an opportunity to be guided around the Art of Nursing Exhibition displays (Refreshments and Pastries provided)
- 10.00 Opening address
- The morning will be spent exploring person-centred leadership development for culture change
- 12:30 Lunch
- 13:30 The afternoon will be spent positioning FoNS as a national leader in culture change and person-centred nursing at a time of profound workforce and system pressures
- 15:15 Closing address
- Followed by onwards access to Kensington Palace
