The Formula: An All-Black Improv Comedy Experience

The Formula is a monthly FREE improv jam created for Black performers to connect, collaborate, and have fun. This supportive space offers a chance to build skills, gain stage time, and share ideas and experiences that may not always find a home in other settings.

Open to all Black comedians, writers, actors, and professionals interested in exploring improv, The Formula is a place to play, network, and grow together. No matter your level of experience, we ask that everyone who attends jump in and participate.

Held the first Sunday of every month.

Stomping Ground Comedy is a BYOB venue!

Registration is optional and helps us plan, but you’re welcome to just show up and jam. Capacity is limited to 60 participants.
