The Forest Night: Reading

The Final reading of Alexandra Weld's Award Winning script, The Forest Night.

In process since January, Alexandra worked alongside professional playwrights to develop their one-act play. Through workshops and readings, Alexandra has refined their script that will be produced in a staged performance this October. Join us to hear the final version of the script, ask qustions, and offer feedback before it goes into production this fall.

The Show: A research assistant returns from a voyage into the forest, and finds that he and his companion are in need of variety in their lives. They witness some abnormal events, and what they do find out is both vague and unsettling. The arrival of a third party presenting uncomfortable moral questions throws them off. They must then decide; what do they value? What is right and wrong, and does it really matter during a nuclear apocalypse?
