About this Event
The Cathy Hughes School of Communications at Howard University and Forbes Specially Invites You!
Join us in person for a conversation commemorating The ForbesBLK 50: Money Masters — a dynamic list recognizing the most influential Black leaders in private equity, private credit, and venture capital.
The conversation will feature Ali Jackson-Jolley, assistant managing editor at Forbes and the reporters behind the stories: Jabari Young, senior writer and editorial lead of ForbesBLK and Asia Alexander, editorial fellow and a 2025 graduate of Howard Journalism. Hear directly from the reporters and editorial leadership on the reporting process, the wealth valuation methods they follow, how it determines honorees and on Black representation in business journalism.
Moderated by dominic k. mckenzie, assistant professor of digital journalism and director of the Howard University Academy for Media Futures, the event will also feature the announcement of the Howard x Forbes HBCU Scholar Program and the Howard student selected as the inaugural 2026 scholar.
This is a first-of-its-kind partnership between Forbes and an HBCU.
