Following our Celebration of Sicily and the presentation of Stefania Auci’s books on the saga of the Sicilian family of the Florios, one of the most successful Southern Italian family of entrepreneurs, join us and delve deeper into the history of Sicily and Italy with this special Book Club Edition. For this unique session, we invite you to read The Florios of Sicily (I Leoni di Sicilia) in English or in Italian. This book has already reached more than thirty reprintings and has been translated in English, German, French, Spanish, and Dutch. On Saturday, March 18th, 10:30 A.M - 12 P.M., we will meet in person to discuss this book in a laid-back atmosphere. Pieranna Garavaso, Professor Emerita of Philosophy, University of Minnesota, Morris, will lead the discussion. The conversation will be in English.
