The First Step - true stories

tenx9 is a free storytelling event where nine people have up to ten minutes each to tell a true story from their life, based on a prompt. In June, that prompt is 'The First Step'. Tell us your stories of first wavering steps into (or out of) something, your child's first step, building some actual steps... Basically, take it however you like - just keep the story true, about you and narrative-driven (i.e. events, characters and real life things happening!).
Nine storytellers of course need an enthusiastic audience, so if storytelling isn't your thing, come along and be a story-listener!
tenx9 is always free with no booking required, but arrive in good time to get a seat and please support our beautiful friends at The Jade who give us the venue for free. Without their generosity there would be no tenx9!
