THE FIRE IN THE FOREST is both a preview and a celebration: I’ll be performing music I've been working on since 2024, bringing it to life on piano and church organ. Together with amazing and talented friends we will a create a space that resonates with our own musical intimacies as well with the reverberating sound of this magnificent building made between 1903 and 1905.

I’m excited to share the stage dear friends and colleagues, whose artistry adds new layers and unexpected turns to my own musicality. Together, we’ll blur boundaries between soundscapes, classical, jazz, minimalism and improvisation - leaning into the unknown.

about the ARTISTS:

Rossano Snel - born in Brazil and based in Berlin, I’m a self-taught pianist and composer working with minimalism, Brazilian inputs, and cinematic soundscapes.In 2023, I released CARBON - an EP shaped by the quiet terror of climate collapse. A reimagining of Kraftwerk’s Das Model and a piano version of Nirvana’s Lithium appear alongside original works. In 2024, I performed at the Classical:NEXT stage (in Tallinn Music Week) and in Fusion Festival (Germany). My piano piece Sunday 23 was released under the prestigious care of Deutsche Grammophon. Over the years, my music has found its way into over 20 productions - feature films, TV series, documentaries, installations, and performances. My scores have been heard in projects for HBO, Netflix, Universal Pictures, arte, ZDF, TV Globo, and in art spaces like KW Contemporary (Berlin), Parque Laje (Rio), and Pivô (São Paulo). I write music like someone remembering a dream: softly, vividly, and always a little haunted

Evgeniy Abin - The Ukrainian saxophonist, who lives in Berlin, performs actively both as a soloist and as a member of various ensembles. He studies at the Jazz Institute Berlin, where he develops his own musical voice in the field of tension between jazz tradition and contemporary improvisation. His playing combines the energy of jam sessions with deep emotionality, creating a lively and unique musical space
