HPDE (High Performance Driving Experience) We are a learning organization.
Gain expert knowledge from our professional, experienced classroom teachers and Group Leader Coaches and our highly trained NASA Certified in-car instructors.
HPDE1 is for the beginner or less experienced driver and includes an in-car instructor for 4 sessions per day and 3 detailed classroom educational sessions per day.
HPDE2 is our intermediate level with 4 sessions of mostly solo driving but incudes a session per day with an advanced in-car instructor to provide a higher level of personalized coaching along with a couple download sessions and classrooms with our educator coaches.
HPDE3 is where it all starts to come together, and we expect you to know the basics of safety and situational awareness and we show you the tricks to going faster. HPDE3 is the turning point where you can decide to continue with advanced open track driving in HPDE4, apply for a Time
Trial competition license or go to Competition licensing school to become a Race Car Driver or start the rewarding path to become an instructor by going through our instructor Training School.
HPDE4 is the FAST group of highly experienced drivers. This is the run group where our instructors play.
Time Trial: Compete for the best lap time in a streetcar or a race prepared machine. License is required. Multiple classes based on a horsepower to weight ratio, an EV class and the new TTT (Time Trial Target), which is the largest class awarding the driver with the most constant lap times throughout the day.
Wheel to Wheel Racing:
TREC (Team Racing Endurance Challenge) is our fun Friday Endurance race for drivers with some experience and no medical required.
SPRINT Racing is broken down into two groups. Lightning is the group for the smaller engine displacement car classes. Thunder is the group for the fastest larger displacement car classes. Saturday schedule includes a morning practice session, qualifying and a 35 min. sprint race. Sunday schedule provides a morning warm up session and two Sprint races between 25-30 min.
