Temple of Ideas & Curious Club Present: The Festive Ideas PartyPlease note: You must book a spot to attend. Get your FREE ticket here: https://tinyurl.com/festiveideas. If you can bring any food, drink, or snacks to share it would be much appreciated.
We draw together artists, thinkers, and creators for a unique gathering of creative communities. Join us at the Old Diorama Arts Centre (We've been given a larger room this time!) where the magic of art, music, discussion, and performance come alive.
Meet some of the communities shaping this extraordinary evening:
GiveMeLove Camden is a charity shop in Camden Town run by 80s icon Jennie Bellestar, former lead singer of The Belle Stars. The shop sells vintage clothes, music, and unique finds, with proceeds supporting Food For All UK, a charity providing free, nutritious vegetarian meals to vulnerable individuals daily.

Curious Club: Led by Chris Barlow, a community leader, founder of the Westminster Forum and advocate in the LGBTQ+ space, the Curious Club embraces the spirit of discovery. With the mantra "stay connected, stay curious," the club hosts monthly adventures, inviting members to explore everything from art and culture to culinary creativity, sparking fresh perspectives and lifelong curiosity.
Temple of Ideas: Founded by singer, songwriter, music and video producer Meg Lee Chin, the Temple of Ideas is modelled on the artistic and intellectual salons of the 17th and 18th centuries and is known for its spontaneous, raw, and vibrant gatherings. These events blend music, poetry, art, and discussion, creating an atmosphere where creativity flows, ideas spark, and connections thrive.

Jennie Bellestar will present an overview of her charity’s impactful work, and share her heartfelt poetry to bring inspiration to the event.
Chris Barlow will take the audience on a whistle-stop journey, "From Julius Caesar to Oxford Street Lights," exploring midwinter as a time of feasting and celebration, from the ancient festival of Saturnalia to modern-day Christmas traditions.
Trombonist and poet Paul Taylor offers his dynamic blend of music and storytelling, while comedian Doug Graves entertains us with his sharp humour.
Group singalong karaoke at the end!
Expect other impromptu performance and discussion as others join the stage - time permitting.
