You can experience the National Railroad Museum with a festive twist (at no extra cost)! From November 17 - December 31, you can hop inside the Escanaba & Lake Superior Snow Plow #100, interact with the largest collection of drumheads in our Bauer Drumhead Gallery, and read stories of the railroad all while being surrounded by dozens of beautifully decorated trees! These creatively adorned trees are sponsored by local businesses, non-profits, and organizations. The Festival of Trees is open during our regular business hours, Monday - Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and Sunday, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Please note that between November 17 and December 16, the museum closes 1 hour prior to the start of The Polar Express Train Ride. From November 17 to December 16, we will be closing at 3:00 PM on Fridays and Sundays, and 1:00 PM on Saturdays.
