The Ferry to Heron: Section 1 of the Roundabout

We’ll meet in front of the Ferry Building to begin our 5.5-mile walk of Section 1 of the Roundabout. Our walk will include some wonderful new parks along the eastern waterfront as well as a little-known industrial corridor. After we arrive at the end of Section 1, we’ll do an out-and-back in Heron’s Head Park before sitting down for our sack lunches. The bus stops for Muni’s 44 O’Shaughnessy and 19 Polk are only a five-minute walk away from Heron’s Head Park.
