Join Prague Feminist Tours for a 1.5-hour walk in Prague 5, a district often overlooked but rich in feminist history just waiting to be explored.We’ll first explore the Na Knížecí area, starting with a historical look at the Ženské Domovy building, a 1930s former hostel for working women. Then, we’ll dive into the district’s social evolution, focusing on the Smíchov City neighbourhood. We'll discover the stories of the women and gender nonconforming people behind the new street names. Then, we’ll hop on the metro for three stops to Jinonice to discover feminist street art in the area’s underpasses, revitalised by the Praho! Project, which is dedicated to themes of feminism, emancipation, and gender equality. 💪
