'the feels' presents SexEd: how to touch

we're in an era of relational anemia: we're undersexed, spending less time in 3rd spaces like bars, going on fewer first dates, and we're collectively starved for basic human connection - like touch.

in this werkshop - you'll learn about the different kinds of touch, direct from a licensed massage therapist. you'll also learn how to attune to another body via your touch, and you'll get to practice giving + receiving.

this werkshop will spend a substantial amount of time in pair'd practice work - so if you are attending - please do so understanding that we're engaging in non-sexual pair'd work designed to tap into our body, and leave you with an imprint for healthy contact.

the embodied portion of this session will be led by Sun Katayama.

Sun has been a licensed massage therapist since graduating from the Brenneke School of Massage in 2003, complemented by a Bachelor of Biology with a concentration in Physiology from the University of Washington.

He’s been operating a private practice here in Brooklyn since 2019, while studying Tibetan Buddhism in the Tantric Vajrayana tradition, and practicing the spiritual traditions of the Shipibo, an indigenous people of Peruvian Amazon.

For nearly 20 years, Allie's work has focused on systems change. Her flagship offering, 'the feels', was launched in Aug 2022 and since then has hosted over 8000 singles in NYC, LA, SF, DC, Philly, Chicago + Miami.
On a weekly basis, Allie speaks 1:1 to an average of 5 singles on account of the feels matchmaking clients, further expanding + deepening her understanding of the modern dating landscape.
On a weekly basis, Allie publishes a Substack that is read by thousands; in addition to press coverage that ‘the feels’ has received in the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, USA Today and many more,
