Step into the world of herbal medicine and discover how everyday plants can gently support your health and wellbeing.
In this welcoming, beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll introduce you to the foundations of herbalism through herbal energetics, the traditional way herbalists understand how plants interact with the whole body. Instead of memorizing recipes, you’ll learn how to think like an herbalist by observing the body, recognizing plant qualities, and choosing herbs that match individual needs.
Together, we’ll explore key herbal actions like diaphoretic, expectorant, stimulant, and nervine herbs, and break down the core energetic qualities of temperature, moisture, and tone. You’ll also learn how warming and cooling herbs can support common conditions like colds and seasonal illness.
This is a hands-on experience. You’ll work directly with herbs like chamomile, mint, thyme, cinnamon, marshmallow, licorice, and dandelion, learning through taste, smell, and observation.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away with:
