The Fact-Checker’s Lab: DIY Natural Cleaning vs. Greenwashing
About this Event
Learn how to see through “greenwashed” marketing claims and uncover the science behind safe, effective eco-cleaning. In this hands-on lab, we’ll explore how climate misinformation and disinformation can shape the way we understand products, chemicals, sustainability, and our environmental impact. You’ll develop the critical-thinking skills needed to question misleading claims, decode tricky product labels, and distinguish credible evidence from persuasive environmental messaging.
Along the way, you’ll discover practical ways to reduce toxic chemicals in your home and drastically cut down on plastic packaging waste - turning better information into meaningful climate action.
