Back in the 1980s, four young musicians in black jackets and skinny ties spent years criss-crossing Ontario and beyond, building a reputation for their high-energy performances and authentic love of classic rock and roll. Sharing stages with legends such as Bo Diddley, Del Shannon, Peter Noone, and many others, The Knockouts became one of the most exciting live acts on the circuit. Though the band eventually went their separate ways, the chemistry and magic that made them special never disappeared.
Reuniting after decades apart, The Fabulous Knockouts discovered that the spark was still there—and audiences have been thrilled ever since. With a sound that can hit as hard as a freight train one moment and deliver a heartfelt ballad the next, the band continues to captivate fans with their passion, musicianship, and infectious energy.
Featuring veteran musicians Michael Zweig (guitar/vocals), Vic D’Arsie (keyboards/vocals), Terry Martell (drums/percussion), and Jim Casson (bass/vocals), The Fabulous Knockouts bring together decades of experience performing, recording, and touring with some of Canada’s finest artists. Members have worked with Burton Cummings, Randy Bachman, Tom Cochrane, The Carpet Frogs, Aldo Nova, Walter Rossi, Gord Deppe, and many more.
Their setlist is a dream for fans of classic rock, British Invasion, garage rock, soul, and early pop, featuring songs made famous by The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Animals, The Monkees, The Zombies, CCR, Neil Young, Santana, Badfinger, The Troggs, The Rascals, Paul Revere & The Raiders, The Kingsmen, The Foundations, Buddy Holly, Del Shannon, Elvis Presley, Tommy James, The Grass Roots, and dozens more. From the mid-1950s through the early 1970s, The Fabulous Knockouts deliver the soundtrack of a generation with authenticity, excitement, and plenty of surprises.
