About this Event
Join us back at the museum for this month’s informal creative workshop of stitching, chatting and sharing, inspired by PHM’s collections.
Create and share textile responses to the topics explored, using techniques taught by artist Helen Mather.
This month:
We will be linking to . We will come together in person, to share ideas and create in stitch, how we can reduce loneliness and encourage connection with people and our community. We will be making sensory keyrings with messages of support and understanding that reach out to people. The finished keyrings can be given out as gifts, as everyday reminders of the need to connect with each other.
All textile abilities welcome, suitable for 11+ (under 18s must have an accompanying adult present during session)
Booking required, limited places
Maximum of five people (adults & young people) per booking
Please aim to arrive five minutes before the session starts
Session duration 70 minutes

Not suitable for group bookings
Safety measures are in place for your comfort. Each family or friend bubble will have their own work station and materials and hand sanitiser and wipes will be available for participants.
