Join for an extraordinary panel with activitists, historians, and alums of the Rosenwald Schools who will share a remarkable story of collaboration in the face of adversity.
At a time when public education was routinely denied to Black children in the rural South, Julius Rosenwald and Booker T. Washington launched an extraordinary effort to build more than 5,000 schools that would ultimately educate over 600,000 children between 1913 and 1932. The impact was profound.
