The Extraordinary Caterpillar Screening

Mark your calendars for a special screening of The Extraordinary Caterpillar on Thursday, September 10! This is a joint program with our friends at Triad Wild, the local NC Wildlife Federation chapter, and will be shown at the GSO Science Center SAIL Center.
Directed by Jeff McKay (Call of the Forest: The Forgotten Wisdom of Trees), the film features leading experts, including naturalist Sam Jaffe from The Caterpillar Lab, author and scientist Doug Tallamy from the Homegrown National Park, and entomologist David Wagner (author of Moths of the World, among many other books). The film uses hi-resolution, gorgeous macro-videography to showcase the fascinating--and vital--lives of caterpillars and the important role they play in our ecosystem.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with treats from Maxie B's.
The film begins at 7 p.m. and is approximately 60 minutes long. There will be a brief Q & A afterward.
We will also be giving away some awesome native plants thanks to Bashavia Gardens.
The evening is free and open to all. Registration is appreciated so we know how many to expect but your presence is what really matters. See "add tickets" to register.
