"What an excellent day for an exorcism..."
One of the most iconic lines from a motion picture, uttered by the Assyrian demon Pazuzu (voiced by Mercades McCambridge) in William Friedkin's 1973 motion picture adaptation of William Peter Blatty's best selling novel 'The Exorcist'. The Academy Award winning film about a little girl (Linda Blair) possessed by a demon, and the traumatic lengths that her Mother (Ellen Burstyn) and Two Priests (Max Von Sydow, Jason Miller) go to save her.
Penned for the screen by Blatty and distributed through Warner Bros. Pictures, the film went on to shock millions and create a legacy with it's realistic and then unconscionable depiction of evil and the innocence in corrupts, stirring the minds of audiences of all religions and beliefs to become one of the most celebrated films in history.
Witness the faith, experience the fear, and brave the journey of William Friedkin's masterpiece as it hasn't been seen or heard in 50 years!
