The Exchange Project -Upcycled Zipper Bag
About this Event
We are upcycling fashion garments to extend their lifespans before they end up in landfills!
In this class, you'll learn how to operate a sewing machine, sew your very own upcycled zipper bag, and take home the zipper bag pattern so you can make more on your own.
We provide all materials, including sewing machines!
The class is intentionally small, giving everyone plenty of individual instruction and time to ask questions. Expect a fun, creative evening with others who share an interest in sustainability, fashion, and making something by hand!
A few things to know before you arrive:
• Please arrive about 5–10 minutes early so we can get everyone settled before we begin.
• Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes if possible.
• Feel free to bring a water bottle or your favorite tasty beverage• There is street parking in front of the store. Parking is free after 7 pm.
If you need to cancel, please let us know by 12:00 p.m. on the day of the class. Tickets can be refunded minus the processing fees.
