The Exchange Project - Skirt Hemming Class
About this Event
We want to extend the life of your skirts before you get rid of them. A landfill diversion initiative.
In this class, you will leave with the knowledge of how to operate a sewing machine and how to properly rehem your skirt to fit.
Please bring your own skirt and/or dress that needs hemming, or we can provide one for you.
The class is intentionally small, giving everyone plenty of individual instruction and time to ask questions. Expect a fun, creative evening with others who share an interest in sustainability, fashion, and making something by hand!
A few things to know before you arrive:
• Please arrive about 5–10 minutes early so we can get everyone settled before we begin.
• Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes if possible.
• Feel free to bring a water bottle or your favorite tasty beverage• There is street parking in front of the store. Parking is free after 7 pm.
If you need to cancel, please let us know by 12:00 p.m. on the day of the class. Tickets can be refunded minus the processing fees.
