The Exchange brings together the hip hop dance community in Maine to experience the 4 elements of hip hop (DJ, Emcee, BBoys/girls/people, Graffiti) and its powerful community. This year, The Exchange will be Saturday, March 18th at the South Portland Community Center, 21 Nelson Rd from 12:30pm-4:30pm.
Dance battles include:
2v2 Breakin' - $400 Cash Prize
2v2 All Styles 10& up - $400 Cash Prize
1V1 All Styles 10& under - Gift Certificate for 1 week of dance camp at Casco Bay Movers Dance Studio
5 & under cypher battle
All Styles Judges - JunnYahh, Brittany McConnell & Kea Tessyman
Breakin' Judges - Bboy Backspace, Bboy Thunder & Bboy nonstop
Graffiti artist Tim Clorius of Subone will be drawing kids names
Deejay RHYTHM, Dj Hayley from 104.7, DJ Feast, & DJ Thunder.
As always Chique from Lords of Illusion will emcee alongside Boston legend and OG Megatron.

A portion of proceeds from the event will benefit Spark Dance Program committed to "Dance for every body" offering dance to people with and without disabilities.
