Having been Chef Patron here at The Crown for just over 18 months I am immensely proud how quickly the crown has become such a strong part of the community, offering a mix of classic dishes, fine dining; we also host various events, including Ladies Lunches, Wine & Dine Evenings, and this Summer – we will be serving our street-food-style dishes outside, with live music every Saturday afternoon under our stretch tent!

The Crown is an all-weather venue with cosy indoor areas for Autumn and Winter, sunny spots for those warmer months and even a stretch tent for those seeking some shade. As well as the bar and restaurant, we cater for private events and are always evolving to meet the changing preferences of our clients. So whether for a drink and snack, attending or organising an event come visit our hidden gem that offers a relaxed atmosphere, personal service and outstanding cuisine for all.

Chris Wheeler is an incredible fine dining chef. He worked with Jean-Christophe Novelli as his right hand man and headed up the Kitchens of Stoke Park for over 20 years at the multi-award-winning Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire. His experience and flair with food and the time and energy which has been put into his menu’s are always commented on by thousands.

Chris has signature dishes which have won praise in international media. He has also appeared in BBC’s Great British Menu. He is a celebrity Chef that has a touch of Ginger Magic!
