The Escapist Music (Arnaud Dagenais) is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter emerging artist from Montreal. The musician’s ability to create melodic pop/rock catchy songs, blended with a natural charismatic aura, allows him to reach the public and make his audience engage with his songs. The artist released four official singles: «Love Like Gravity», «All I Need», «Violence» and «Cigarettes & Diamonds». All were independently released and produced by the composer. His main inspirations are astronomy, intuition, physics, critical consciousness and social action. Since 2010, The Escapist Music performed more than 150 concerts across eastern Canada and the United States in cities like Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec City and New York City. Arnaud also supports the marginalized youth of his Montreal community by working as a community worker. The involvement in the community is also directly reflected into his musical art as a great source of inspiration. Inside out of his career, Arnaud is assisting young artists by creating opportunities of creative development. Through popular education, empowerment, guidance and music production, he supports them to reach their full potential. In 2026, Arnaud will continue to tour in Canada and collaborate to reach more people with his music.

Son talent pour créer des chansons pop/rock mélodiques et entraînantes, allié à un charisme naturel, lui permet de rejoindre un large public et de captiver ses auditeurs. L'artiste a sorti quatre singles : « Love Like Gravity », « All I Need », « Violence » et « Cigarettes & Diamonds », tous autoproduits. Ses principales sources d'inspiration sont l'astronomie, l'intuition, la physique, la conscience critique et l'engagement social. Depuis 2010, The Escapist Music a donné plus de 150 spectacles dans l'est du Canada et aux États-Unis, notamment à Montréal, Toronto, Ottawa, Québec et New York. Arnaud s'implique également auprès des jeunes marginalisés de sa communauté montréalaise en travaillant comme intervenant communautaire. Cet engagement se reflète directement dans son art, dont il est une source d'inspiration majeure. Parallèlement à sa carrière, Arnaud soutient de jeunes artistes en créant des occasions de développement créatif. Grâce à l'éducation populaire, l'autonomisation, le mentorat et la production musicale, il les aide à réaliser leur plein potentiel.
