The End of Liberty Street | Exhibition
Exhibition ‘The End of Liberty Street’
October 21, 8:00 PM
Zolak Micro Art Residence
Streets, avenues, squares, and bridges in various cities are named after Liberty. But liberty manifests itself differently across different countries.
The exhibition ‘The End of Liberty Street’ is an interdisciplinary artistic research of streets sharing the same name across various cities in one distant country. Where does Liberty begin, and where does it end? Can we walk this free path together, or is it always a personal choice? This theme is rife with paradoxes, vague definitions, severed connections, and blind spots. You can take a closer look at them at the exhibition on October 21 at 20:00.
Marina Matule is a traveling artist, the creator of interdisciplinary projects and a participant in international art residencies.
Ahead of the exhibition, the artist invites you to recall whether you have ever visited Laisvės prospektas in Vilnius.
Where is it happening?
