Based on an Italian fairy tale collected by the Scottish poet, Andrew Lang, and adapted for performance by the inspiring Kenyan/Scottish storyteller, Mara Menzies, The Enchanted Snake blends compelling modern storytelling with live performance of Scottish trad and court music from the 18th century.

Travel with us around a giant snake-shaped map, help the Enchanted Snake with challenges along the way, and get up close to Dunedin Consort’s professional musicians as they guide you through this extraordinary world.
