Phutureprimitive is the moniker of Bay Area producer and songwriter Rain. Early childhood photos reveal Rain sitting at the piano plinking keys, grinning from ear to ear... a true sign of things to come.
The Phutureprimitive sound is mind melting sonic bliss. Lush melodies drift across intricate rhythms, groove heavy beats and warm, fuzzy bass lines. Often exploring a dark and dense palette, his music also manages to convey a sense of tranquility and beauty. Shimmering with cinematic qualities, his music ultimately speaks to the body, mind and soul. It's often said that Phutureprimitive is his own genre.
The sound of Phutureprimitive has spread far and wide with performances From North and Central America, Western and Eastern Europe and Australia.

Named by BBC Radio as “One of the most brilliant world-fusion producers of our time”, David Starfire is known as the pioneer of the Global Bass genre, his earth shattering shamanic bass DJ sets at festivals like Envision and Burning Man, as well as a composer of music for psychedelic therapy. Billboard summed it up best, “David Starfire brings a unique perspective to EDM.”
David has performed at prominent festivals such as Winter Music Conference, Coachella, Outside Lands, Burning Man, Envision, Eclipse, Sonic Bloom, and Lightning in a Bottle. He’s opened up for Skrillex, Diplo, and collaborated with the likes of Afrika Bambaataa, Ram Dass, Sizzla, Alex Grey, William Close, Ooah (The Glitch Mob), Sidecar Tommy (Beats Antique), and the Grammy Award-nominated vocalist Chaytanya. His Ascend album reached #7 on the iTunes World Music chart and he had two #1 remixes on the Hype Machine. He's traded remixes with CloZee, Desert Dwellers, iLL Gates, Beats Antique, SOOHAN, and more.

EarthWave believes in the importance of creating a collaborative community within the industry. As a professional in the field, he has developed online curriculums for Logic Pro users. He also teaches music production for multiple non-profit organizations within his community, to inspire and help cultivate the art of electronic music within the local EDM scene.
