Though spring—mischievous and fleeting—has all but danced away, and though it visits this curious land in a fashion quite unlike what I am accustomed to, I am most delighted to unveil the first of what I dearly hope will be many Spring Garden Parties in the years to come.This gathering shall take the form of a potluck, and you are most warmly invited to contribute a dish—particularly baked delights, fresh fruits, or other sweet offerings—to share in the spirit of abundance and merriment. Bottomless lemonade shall flow in cheerful abundance, while lawn games and gentle amusements await beneath the open sky. There will be kirtan to gladden the heart, and a host of playful corners for little ones to wander and discover at their leisure.
Pray, feel entirely free to simply arrive and bask in the day’s delights, or, should the mood strike, to lend a hand in the ongoing garden projects—each small effort adding its own touch of magic to the unfolding scene. Above all, you are encouraged to lounge awhile in any of the many inviting seating nooks, and let the afternoon carry you where it may.
