Join Black Pear Press author Dunstan Power as he launches his debut novel, The Empty Rope, set in the world of mountaineering.
A climbing accident in Patagonia in 1990 defined two men's lives, making one famous and ruining the other. When Craig Darwen is asked to take part in a film about the tragedy twenty-five years later, he has little idea of where the journey will take him. For the truth about what happened has remained buried in the glaciers of the high Andes for too long and if it's revealed, everything has to change…
Dunstan and his guests will be reading extracts from the novel and there will be a Q&A where you will have the opportunity to discuss it with the author.
