We're excited to announce EBB has been awarded an Ellensburg Arts Commission grant to support the Ellensburg Swing Dance Project! We'll be providing a series of FREE swing dance lessons throughout 2024! The goals? More dancers, more dances, more community connection, more fun! It's that simple. We'll start with lessons for beginners (our instructors have a great approach for people new to dancing to make this fun and easy) and all are welcome. With generous support from The City of Ellensburg Public Library our sessions will be held at Hal Holmes Community Center most Monday evenings. If you've ever wanted to learn to swing dance, this is your chance! Free and Fun! Arrive 10 minutes early for the lesson to begin promptly at 7pm. Enter the side door of Hal Holmes from the parking lot at Ruby and 2nd. There will be an informal social dance (recorded music) following every lesson from approximately 8-9:20pm.
