About this Event
Note: This event may be held as a webinar only. TBD
Humanity is moving from burning fossil fuels to farming the inexhaustible sun and from consuming Earth’s resources to merely borrowing them, revolutionising how we generate, use, and shift electrons. Solar and wind are conquering the electricity supply. EVs, heat pumps, and AI are electrifying major new uses. Batteries and digitalisation are connecting supply and demand. Electrotech has grown exponentially for decades and is now too cheap to contain and too big to ignore. Welcome to the Age of Electrotech.
Daan Walter is a Principal at EMBER and leads strategy research on the future of energy. He focuses on forecasting the rapid growth of electrotech—such as solar PV, batteries, and digitization—and analyzing its strategic implications.
