About this Event
How will the nation navigate the complexities of a new U.S. presidency with pressing issues, such as immigration, asylum policies, economic stability, and inflation, at the forefront? These challenges demand thoughtful conversation and collaborative solutions as communities across the country seek clarity and constructive paths forward.
At this post-election event, a panel of experts will focus on how the country can move forward together, facilitating honest dialogue about immigration, the economy, and other important topics.
This event is part of Civil Dialogues — a joint initiative of the George & Barbara Bush Foundation, LBJ Foundation, and Clinton Presidential Center — which aims to facilitate community dialogue on important issues facing our country today. Conceived by Jean Becker, former chief of staff to President George H. W. Bush, and Linda Lorelle, entrepreneur and former KPRC-TV news anchor, Civil Dialogues town halls offer a safe space for community conversations. The goal is for attendees to walk away with a better understanding of the topic’s nuances while feeling seen, heard, and empowered to continue having similar dialogues.
This event is co-sponsored by the Baker Institute Center for the U.S. and Mexico, MAREK, and Civil Dialogues, with support from Linda Lorelle Media and AllSides.
