The Edmonton International Street Performers Festival is celebrating 40 Years of Awesome this summer! Launched in 1985, StreetFest was the first of its kind in North America. For four decades the Festival has been renowned for bringing high-caliber street entertainment acts to the heart of downtown. Join in on the anniversary fun July 5 – 14, 2024, on Sir Winston Churchill Square.

From musicians to jugglers and acrobats to unicyclists, the festival features more than 500 outdoor performances by a local, national, and international cast of amazing street artists.

All the action takes place on the Square in downtown Edmonton and there is no admission charge for the Festival! That said, the performers are paid through the 'Pass the Hat' tradition of busking, so be sure to bring some cash to show your support.

Our Kids’ World programming offers shows and hands-on activities geared towards kids 12 and under; catch Amanda Panda's amazing hula hoop show, help Jojo with a magic trick, and engage in imaginative play! Our Busker Academy programming offers circus workshops for all ages – from juggling and tight wire walking to breakdancing and aerials.

For two nights only (July 12th and 13th) you can catch the Late Night Madness Cabaret, an adult-only evening of hilarious, high-skill hijinks brought to you by some of the world's best circus and variety performers from the Festival.
