The Edison Cabinet
with Capala, Key Party & Novamotor
Friday July 31st, 2026
Airport Tavern Music Hall — Tacoma, WA
7PM Doors | 8PM Show | All Ages
Two drummers. A horde of masks. Absolutely no quiet quitting.
Bremerton’s The Edison Cabinet returns with a wonderfully unhinged collision of post-punk, art rock, industrial electronics and droning heaviness. This seven-piece beast attacks the stage with two drummers, twisted time signatures, eerie melodies and a masked live show that can feel equal parts rock concert, experimental theater and beautifully controlled nightmare.
Tacoma’s Capala joins the mayhem with heavy riffs, rowdy energy and a sense of humor that keeps things from getting too serious—even when the music hits like a truck. They describe themselves as the “perfect soundtrack for a child’s birthday party,” which is either extremely wholesome or a warning to parents everywhere.
Poulsbo’s Key Party brings hard-driving original rock fueled by a genuine love of loud guitars and playing together. Their songs carry names like “Devil’s Playhouse” and “I Would K*ll a Nun,” but beneath the menace is a band built around big riffs, friendship and the pure joy of making a room shake.
Rounding out the night is Seattle’s Novamotor, delivering gritty local rock and grunge with enough fuzz, muscle and Pacific Northwest attitude to rattle the walls before the headliner even arrives.
This is an all-ages gathering for the weird kids, art-rock obsessives, metalheads, grunge lifers and anyone who believes a good concert should leave them slightly confused and completely energized.
Come early. Get close. Let the Cabinet open.
