About this Event
The feature presentation, Earth, Moon & Sun, explores the relationship between these three objects with the help of Coyote, an amusing character adapted from Native American oral traditions who has many misconceptions about our home planet and its most familiar neighbors. His confusion about the universe makes viewers think about how the Earth, Moon and Sun work together as a system. Native American stories are used throughout the show to help distinguish between myths and science.
Guests will also be exposed to the current early summer night skies and focus on the area of the sky that is in heart of the summer scorpion constellation. Learning how to use a simple partial-sky star map is also included.
TICKETS ARE SOLD ONLINE ONLY. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.
Please note that we are a ticketless venue. When you buy your ticket online or over the phone, you are immediately added to our attendee list so there is no need to print your ticket or present an e-ticket. You can just check-in on show night with your name and smile at the door.
Parking is free.
Food and drink are not allowed in the planetarium.
Most appropriate for our youngest astronomers, but all ages are welcome.
*No refunds at any time.
