THE DUBLIN LEGENDS - Formerly The DublinersThe Dublin Legends brengen Ierse folk zoals Ierse folk bedoeld is. Puur en rauw vanuit het hart. Ze hebben geen blinkende decors en special effects nodig om indruk te maken; goede Folk draagt zichzelf. En dat bewijst het begaafde viertal keer op keer als ze met hun enthousiasme en ritme de zaal op stelten zetten. ‘Molly Mallone’, ‘Whiskey in the jar’, Seven Drunken Nights, The Irish Rover en ‘Dirty Old Town’, stuk voor stuk klassiekers die je wel mee móet zingen. Tien jaar na het 50-jarig jubileum van de fameuze Dubliners is die fameuze naam dan wel geschiedenis, maar heeft de band nog geen fractie ingeboet op zijn ongeëvenaarde stijl. Folk met hoofdletters!

The Dublin Legends proposent un folk irlandais authentique : pur, brut et venant du cœur. Ils n'ont pas besoin de décors clinquants ni d'effets spéciaux pour impressionner; le bon Folk se porte de lui-même. Et le talentueux quatuor le prouve à chaque fois qu'il met l'ambiance dans la salle avec leur enthousiasme et leur rythme. ‘Molly Malone’, ‘Whiskey in the Jar’, ‘Seven Drunken Nights’, ‘The Irish Rover’ et ‘Dirty Old Town’, sont autant de classiques sur lesquels vous ne pourrez vous empêcher de chanter. Dix ans après le cinquantenaire des fameux Dubliners, ce nom illustre peut bien appartenir à l'histoire, mais le groupe n'a pas perdu une once de son style inégalé. Du Folk avec un grand F!
