Systematiq and AIDN hosted panel discussion and breakfast networking event to discuss the recently released Defence Strategic Review document and the opportunities this presents for defence industry.

Come and join us to hear our panel discuss the recent release of the DSR and what this means for defence industry in the short, medium, and long term.
We aim to bring you a lively and informative panel discussion, followed by an opportunity to connect with AIDN members and friends, in an informal environment. Come and learn more about how Systematiq are responding to the changes in force structure, as well as engagement with CASG and the pivot away from the traditional MSP model.
Our panellists include:
Brydon Johnson, Director Strategy and Projects at Systematiq
Brydon is a former Army Officer, having served for 15 years with the Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. An experienced Business Development Manager, Brydon has led proposals on behalf of his clients worth more than $5Bn. His work has focused on supporting organisations looking to secure contracts across the Defence; Rail; Truck and Bus; and Infrastructure domains. Brydon has extensive experience with Australian Government Contracting Frameworks as well as Government Acquisition requirements and Systems Engineering Principles.
Erin O’Brien, Business Development and Sales Manager at Systematiq
Erin is an experienced leader, skilled in Business Development with a master’s degree that focused on Business and Commerce from RMIT. Erin has over 12 years’ experience in Defence Industry, having worked across various domains and all aspects of the Defence lifecycle. This is where Erin developed a strong skill set in Business Development, Business Process, Project Management, Configuration Management and Change Management, with a strong knowledge of Systems Engineering.
Ben Burrows, Project Management Director at Systematiq
Ben is Systematiq’s Project Management Director and has over 15 years’ experience as an Executive Program Director within the Commonwealth Government Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (GASG), delivering large capability procurements of equipment and logistical support to the Australian Defence Force.
